HISTORY OF PHOTOGRAPHY INSTALLATIONS

Gannett Foundation Photographic Study Center
is a part of the museum. Here, you can learn about different aspects of photography. You can also make a personal research appointment to see the different exhibitions that are on display at the center. They have exhibitions of photographs taken by famous artists as well as exhibits focusing on new trends in photography. If you want to learn about the history of photography, you can make a research appointment to the Gannett Foundation Photographic Study Center. The center also includes the Photography Research Library. Here, you can find various books and magazines related to photography. You can also access the online database of the library to look up articles and research materials. The Center hosts the annual Photographic Study Center Conference. The conference takes place every year.
Moving Image Study Center
is the place to be if you are interested in moving images. You can learn all you need to know about this type of art here. George Eastman Legacy Archive and Study Center
(GESC) is the only non-profit library devoted to collecting, preserving and disseminating the personal and historical legacy of George Eastman. The GESC is located in Eastman's former residence in Rochester, NY. The GESC houses one of the world's largest collections of the papers and personal possessions of George Eastman. The GESC houses over 30,000 books and photographs and over 100,000 newspaper pages and documents. All of these materials are available to researchers. The GESC is also home to the Eastman Archives which houses over 5,000 photographs and 3,000 posters, including the Eastman School of Music and the Eastman Kodak Company.
Richard and Ronay Menschel Library
is a non-circulating reference library and archives. The collection is open to the public for research and study purposes. The library was named after the late Richard and Ronay Menschel who were both students at the Eastman School of Music and members of the music faculty. Mr. and Mrs. Menschel also co-founded the Eastman Business Institute. They were close friends of George Eastman and were instrumental in establishing the Eastman School of Music. Mr. and Mrs. Menschel are also responsible for the establishment of the Eastman Archives, Eastman Business Institute and the Eastman Legacy Archive and Study Center. The collection contains personal and historical items of George Eastman.
