 5: Still Life Photography....

It is a photographic genre where the subject is an inanimate object. It includes anything from flowers to clocks to books. You can also include other inanimate objects such as chairs or paintings. Still life photography requires the photographer to work fast, as objects can change unexpectedly. You can use a tripod to get good results. You will also need a good camera, a fast shutter speed, and a wide aperture. The rule is that you have to wait for the object to be completely still before you press the shutter button. After that, you will have to move out of the way. The main thing to look for is whether the object is really still or is moving. If the object is moving, you will need to move quickly so you can avoid blurriness. In addition to the technical aspects, you also need to consider the mood and feeling of the image. For example, it can be quite difficult to get a natural-looking photo with a table lamp that is shining brightly. So, make sure you are careful to avoid creating shadows or reflections that distract from the main subject. Make sure that the objects are not too close to one another so you can get a good image. If you have an idea of what you want, try to achieve that. But be prepared to change your mind at any time.

Editorial images do not show any real scenes or activities. The focus is mainly on the model's physical appearance. The images usually feature one or two models in a series of shots. Some photographers will make special arrangements to allow them to photograph their subjects. Some of these arrangements can include using makeup, props, and fancy outfits. Some will also create sets with multiple lights, to help them achieve certain looks. In general, editorial photos use special lighting to bring out the subject's best features.
